The Perfect Start

Kids ages 2 to adults can improve their dance techniques and learn innovative styles. Classes are conducted at a more leisurely pace, keeping the fun in dance while furthering the dancers’ abilities. Creative Edge offers fun programming but also aims to challenge each dancer.

Most dancers begin at a recreational level to learn the basic technique and gain experience performing on a stage and being part of a team. Dancers learn commitment, teamwork, coordination, and social skills that will set the stage for their future. Classes begin in September and run until June.

Recreational Information

Our recreational classes offer something for everyone who wants to have the opportunity to grow as a dancer, without the higher level of commitment as in competitive dance. The recreational dance program runs from September-June with the school year. Students are placed according to both skill and age level. We offer classes to the young and young at heart.

Children as young as 2 can begin to dance in our Creative Movement program. We offer beginner to intermediate-level recreational dance classes for children as well as adults. All classes run for about 1 hour and dancers are permitted to take multiple classes! Even if you aren’t sure of one style you can drop into any recreational class in the months of September through to December. Call ahead to reserve your spot and drop in.
